Sheila Patterson-Harris elected to City Council District 2

Sheila Patterson-Harris took the win in City Council District two with 58% of the vote.  The following are the three most important issues facing District 2:

Safety: Increase in criminal activity, air quality, noise issues, immediate access to emergency care, commuting within neighborhoods and the presence of prairie dogs in neighborhoods.

Declining /Deterioration of property and infrastructure: Homes, housing, businesses declining, property value, dumping, unmaintained land/lots, weeds, curbs and streets in ill repair and need of basic upkeep.

Lack of communication: Failed relationships between City Hall and the citizens, lack of knowledge and communication with regard to information concerning citizens and communities, programs, services and access to the same.
